| I had been thinking
about learning to skydive for a number of years and finally took the
plunge in March 2003. I enrolled on a Static-line course at my local
Drop Zone. Initially I found this exciting but it wasn't long before
I became frustrated with how slowly I was progressing. After all,
experiencing the amazing feeling of freefall is the only reason why
I took up the sport and jumping out of a plane at a relatively low
attitude on the end of a line soon became a little less than exciting.
It was at this point that I decided to look around for an Accelerated
Free Fall course. I looked through magazines and on the internet and
came to the conclusion that I could take an AFF course abroad as cheaply
as I could in England. The obvious difference being that although
the course would be pretty intensive it would be more enjoyable doing
the course in sunny Spain than in rainy cloudy England.
I spent 7 days in Lillo where the freefall
University is based. The fact that I was there for only seven days
was not an issue and I had no problem completing the course and
my consolidation jumps. This was not just down to the lovely weather
but mainly down to Dave's excellent teaching skills. Dave is an
excellent skydiver and along with his coaching team makes you feel
RELAXED IN THE AIR- the key to skydiving.
The groups of students on each course
are relatively small which enables Dave and his team to give excellent
'one-to-one' tuition both on the ground and in the air and you are
thoroughly briefed before and after every jump.
All in all what with the brilliant
weather, great facilities and above all excellent coaching, if you
are serious about learning to skydive
- Dave Cowman : FreeFall University is the best!

| I
will state, the only reason why I continued and passed my AFF was
due to David being an outstanding instructor with an ability to communicate
efficiently what was required, how to do it right, and to become accustomed
to freefall, by making me feel I was jumping with my best mate. |

| I
would thoroughly reccomend the Accelerated Freefall Program as the
best way to learn to skydive. Furhtermore I would have no hesitation
in reccomending David Cowman and the freefall University as the place
to learn, I found the service complete and the instruction thorough.

| David's
course has all the right ingredients; great weather, friendly drop
zone, ideal location but most importantly he is a terrific instructor.
He supports his students in every way, on the ground as well as in
the air, both before and after the AFF graduation jump. I certainly
couldn't have graduated with any other instructor. |

After completing the
AFF course last august, i'd like to say personally i had the best
time abroad ever.
If you told me there's a better way to spend my money, i'd say you havent
even lived:) The staff are both friendly and professional. As
is Dave Cowman, Dave never looses sight of helping you to complete
your goal, and takes his own personal time to make sure that
you do, I'm all smiles after coming home and have joined my local
parachute club. I've jumped
twice since i've come home and i am having the time of my life.
Thanks Dave, hope to see you in December. |

This Summer I spent
9 days in Lillo learning to skydive with David Cowman. I found the
programme intensive, yet flexible enough to take in
different peoples' relative strengths and weaknesses. David is a great
instructor who tunes into an individual's requirements and adapts
accordingly. Lillo is also an ideal venue for learning - with friendly,
informal surroundings and every possible facility that you could require.
Within 9 days I completed 26 jumps and made stacks of progress. I
would recommend AFF to anyone thinking of learning to skydive; and
particularly the Freefall University as a company to learn with." |

A
fantastic 12 days jumping. From near novice to a
confident skydiver within just a few days shows that this is
a great way to learn but importantly the
school has amazing instructors at an excellent venue.Since graduating
from David's setup in Lillo I have jumped at other drop zones
in the UK and found I long to return to Spain to jump in a relaxed
atmosphere with the best instructors who are very friendly and want
to help you progress. They aren't there just for a job, but they
are there instructing because they love it! I will definitely
be back later this year.
I promise if you try it then you'll
be hooked!

| I
have just lived the most exciting and rewarding ten days of my life
doing David's AFF course in Lillo. Being a newbie to skydiving I was
of course anxious and nervous about what was to come. However, as
soon as I met David and his team any worries I had were blown away.
I found them to be some of the friendliest, thoughtful and most professional
people I have ever met. As a result of this I truly had a fantastic
time and will continue jumping forever. Thanks for giving me the best
possible introduction to an amazing and rewarding sport! |

| I learned
to skydive at The Freefall University, run by Dave Cowman.
If you want to skydive successfully,
you need two things: confidence in your equipment, and confidence
in your ability to skydive. At the Freefall University, all the
equipment (including the plane!) is perfectly serviceable. My confidence
in my ability to skydive was given to me by the instructors during
the course. The instruction quality was top level, with all the
instructors exuding competence, and good will.
The general setup at the Freefall University
is excellent, with good accommodation and facilities, and plenty
of laughs and good times to be had. If you fancy learning to skydive
(and I positively encourage you), I unreservedly recommend that
you do so at the Freefall University. I can t imagine a better place
to learn.
